                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
                   FORWARD CERTAIN TRANSPORTATION ENHANCEMENT
                   PROJECT APPLICATIONS, MORE SPECIFICALLY
                   LISTED HEREIN, TO THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT
                   OF TRANSPORTATION.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to forward the following transportation enhancement project
       applications to the Tennessee Department of Transportation:
                  Phase IV, Riverwalk
                  Improvement of Existing TVRM Route
                  Wauhatchie Pike Greenway
                  Airport Connector Gateway
                  South Chattanooga Creek Greenway
                  Downtown Streetscape
                  Structural Restoration of the Chief John Ross
                       Bridge
                  Highway 27 between 12th Street and 20th
                       Street Gateway
                  Highway 27 at 4th Street Interchange Gateway
                  I-24 between Chestnut Street and Central
                       Avenue Gateway
                  Restoration/Upgrading of the Roadway,
                       Pedestrian and Navigational Lights on
                       the Chief John Ross Bridge
                  Mountainside Gateway Park at Ochs Highway and
                       St. Elmo Avenue
